THE REAL GROUP a été fondé en 1984 par cinq étudiant∙e∙s du Conservatoire royal de musique de Stockholm et fait depuis partie de l'élite mondiale du chant a cappella. En 2022, THE REAL GROUP a toutefois connu un changement de génération. La formation actuelle est composée de Clara Fornander, Axel Berntzon, Daniele Dees, Joanné Nugas et Johannes Rückert Becker.
Avec leur combinaison unique de jazz, de pop et de folk, le groupe a su créer un genre à part entière et établi des normes internationales en matière de musique vocale. Leurs concerts impressionnent par leur brio technique, leur précision harmonique et leur présence scénique incomparable. Leurs interprétations musicales évoluent entre des compositions originales complexes, des standards de jazz connus et des chansons pop contemporaines.
Leur vaste répertoire leur a permis de collaborer avec des orchestres symphoniques, des groupes de jazz, des groupes pop et des artistes tels que la star de l'opéra Barbara Hendricks, l'harmoniciste de jazz Toots Thielemans et le producteur des Beatles, Sir George Martin.
THE REAL GROUP donnera un concert exceptionnel à l’Artikuss à Soleuvre (L), ensemble avec le Big Band de la Musique Militaire Grand-Ducale.

THE REAL GROUP wurde 1984 von fünf Student∙inn∙en der Königlichen Musikhochschule in Stockholm gegründet und gehört seitdem zur Weltspitze der A-Cappella-Musik. Im Jahr 2022 gab es bei THE REAL GROUP
jedoch einen Generationswechsel. Die aktuelle Besetzung: Clara Fornander, Axel Berntzon, Daniele Dees, Joanné Nugas und Johannes Rückert Becker.
Mit ihrer einzigartigen Verbindung aus Jazz, Pop und Folk haben sie ein eigenes Genre geprägt und internationale Standards für Vokalmusik gesetzt. Ihre Konzerte beeindrucken durch technische Brillanz, harmonische Präzision und eine unvergleichliche Bühnenpräsenz. Ihre musikalischen Interpretationen bewegen sich nahtlos zwischen komplexen
Eigenkompositionen, bekannten Jazzstandards und zeitgenössischen Popsongs.
Ihr breit gefächertes Repertoire hat es der Gruppe ermöglicht, mit Symphonieorchestern, Jazzgruppen, Big Bands, Popbands und Künstlern wie dem Opernstar Barbara Hendricks, dem Jazz-Mundharmonikaspieler Toots Thielemans und dem Beatles-Produzenten Sir George Martin zusammenzuarbeiten.
Neben Konzerten sind auch Projekte mit anderen musikalischen Ensembles wie Orchestern, Big-Bands und natürlich Chören möglich oder aber auch Workshop zu denen dann gerne auch ehemalige Mitglieder sowie die Gründer dazu stoßen können.
THE REAL GROUP wird im Artikuss in Soleuvre (L) zusammen mit der Big Band des großherzoglichen Militärorchesters, auftreten.

With the voice as their sole instrument they have created a unique musical expression in the field between jazz, pop and Nordic European vocal music.
THE REAL GROUP has toured worldwide since it was formed in 1984 and is considered one of the leading forces in the world of vocal music. Since 2022 the vocal group has a new line-up and the current members are: Clara Fornander, Axel Berntzon, Daniele Dees, Joanné Nugas und Johannes Rückert Becker.
The combination of perfection and personal touch along with original songs have made them accessible to music enthusiasts in general as well as to the more demanding ear.
In 1989 the group graduated from The Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm with the highest degree and since then they have often been asked to perform at prestigious official events along with their regular concerts.
Their wide repertoire has made it possible for the group to collaborate with symphony orchestras, jazz groups, pop bands and artists such as opera star Barbara Hendricks, jazz harmonica player Toots Thielemans and The Beatles producer sir George Martin.
THE REAL GROUP has made 24 albums in their own name. They have produced their own concert tours with over 2.800 concerts worldwide. They have hosted their own TV show and been artistic directors for vocal music festivals in USA and South Korea and produced their own festivals in Sweden and Finland where the educational branch The Real Group Academy has contributed with the educational content.
THE REAL GROUP will perform at the Artikuss (L) in Soleuvre together with the Big Band of the Luxembourg Military Band.
