Le nouveau spectacle « Hooked » (en français : accro ou sous le charme) des Danceperados of Ireland, allie la fascination de la pêche et de la danse à la musique et au chant. « Hooked » est un hommage aux coutumes et traditions des communautés maritimes, où la vie est si merveilleusement différente de celle des grandes villes. C’est aussi une ode à la mer et aux rivières de l’île d’émeraude, à la nature sauvage et audacieuse.
Les chansons et les histoires autour de la mer nous ramènent à une époque où les gens vivaient encore en autarcie et menaient une vie simple, autonome, mais également dangereuse ! La mer donnait beaucoup, mais savait aussi prendre à son tour.
Dans ce nouveau spectacle, des images et vidéos historiques et actuelles s'associent à la musique et aux claquettes pour former une œuvre totale pour tous les sens.

Mit „Hooked“ (dt.: süchtig, am Haken, gebannt oder im Banne von) haben die Danceperados of Ireland eine neue mitreißende Show kreiiert, die die Faszination des Fischens und des Tanzens sowie Musik und Gesang auf einen Nenner bringt. „Hooked“ ist ein Tribut an die Sitten und Bräuche der maritimen Communities, in denen es so wunderbar anders zugeht als in den großen Städten. Die Lieder und Geschichten rund um das das Meer bringen uns in eine Zeit zurück, in der die Menschen noch Selbstversorger waren und ein einfaches, aber selbstbestimmtes Leben führten. Jedoch ein Gefährliches! Das Meer hat nicht nur gegeben, sondern oft auch genommen. All dies wird zu sehen und zu hören sein.
Eine Multivision mit historischen und aktuellen Bildern und Videos verbindet sich mit Musik und Stepptanz zu einem Gesamtkunstwerk für Augen und Ohren.

The name Danceperados of Ireland already symbolizes the ensemble's enthusiasm for Irish step dancing. Loosely translated, they are "The Dance Maniacs". Yes, the Irish can't stop dancing, singing and playing. It's in their blood. Fishing is also part of the Irish DNA.
With "Hooked" the Danceperados have created a new, rousing show that brings the fascination of fishing and dancing as well as music and singing to a common denominator.
“Hooked” is a tribute to the customs and traditions of maritime communities, where life is so wonderfully different from that of the big cities. The songs and stories about the sea take us back to a time when people were still self-sufficient and led a simple but self-determined life. But a dangerous one!
The sea has not only given, but often also taken. All of this will be seen and heard. A multivision with historical and current images and videos combines with music and tap dancing to create a total work of art for the eyes and ears.
